Mary Ann Rogers
Whilst on a recent visit to Northumberland we visited the gallery home of Mary Ann Rogers where we indulged in her wonderful exhibition of paintings. Leam Cottage sits on the hillside overlooking the river Rede in harsh hill farming country, where life is dominated by the seasons. Mary Ann’s exhibition displayed pregnant ewes rushing to be fed, boxing hares, elegant giraffes and robust reindeer amongst others. In 2009, Mary Ann Rogers received the coveted award for ‘Best Selling Published Artist’ from the Fine Art Trade Guild.
